Organic Cotton Jersey Knit Fabric is a lightweight, all-cotton single knit. This fabric is perfect to use for intimate wear, and would be great for a comfortable cup lining, bralette, pair of panties, or panty gusset; it also works well for garments such as tank tops and T-shirts. The fabric is made from 100% Organic Cotton and is very soft against the skin.

For those that are allergic to synthetics (such as polyester, rayon, nylon, or spandex), this fabric was made for you! It is 100% Organic Cotton.

Pro-Tip: Wash the fabric before use!  It is 100% cotton and it will shrink 2-3%. Simply wash the fabric in hot water and throw it in the dryer to pre-shrink the fabric.  To keep the fabric from curling after pre-shrinking – before washing the Heathered Organic Cotton, serge across the ends of the fabric folded in half. This prevents tangling in the washer or dryer. The serged ends are simply cut off, without wasting much fabric.

Pro-Tip: The mechanical give runs along the crosswise grain, more so than on the lengthwise grain. We advise customers using this fabric for bra cups to use two layers of the fabric with DoGS opposing – that is with the grain line running at opposite angles to one another.
